If you've been following along on my journey, you've probably read about the challenges I've had with finding a manufacturer to produce the bags. Unfortunately the manufacturer I had previously found ended up falling through since their production minimum was higher than I could meet. I really had to take a hard look at all of the variables that needed to be accounted for such as the cost of fabric and lining materials, packaging costs, etc. I didn't want to compromise on any of the materials that I had found. Things like eco-friendly fabrics produced without any toxic or harmful chemicals was not something I was willing to compromise on. After all, why would I try to sell something that I wouldn't use myself??
So after going through my cost analysis, I realized I had two options. Option 1: Continue working at my 9-5 job for a few years to save up as much capital as I need to have a manufacturer produce the bags. Option 2: Continue working at my 9-5 job, but simultaneously start producing the bags on my own. The answer was clear, I would create them on my own! The thought of waiting a few more years to start creating my dream seemed pretty unbearable. So... without further ado... these bags will officially be hand made by me :D The processing time will be longer, however at this stage I'm just happy to be making them! I can't wait to make these Nosh bags for you and am so excited for the stories we'll share!
