When I set out to create the first bag, I knew it had to bring a few things to the table (pun-intended): It needed to have style, yet also be durable, practical enough for multi-use, and made in an eco-friendly manner.
Materials

Our fabric and components are sourced from manufacturers that combine environmental responsibility with quality production standards. The fabrics are OEKO-TEX and CPSIA certified, which ensures they've been tested for harmful substances and have been deemed harmless to the environment as well as to humans.
Our interior liner is the only PUL fabric on the market that has been tested for food safety as well as repeated-use food storage.
Design
Designing is our true love! Bring on the note pads and sketches because we truly get excited about creating bags. It usually starts with, "Wouldn't it be great if..." and then follow the countless sketches and prototypes to bring that design to life.

Manufacturing

When it comes to our bags, quality is our highest focus. It's what ensures you'll be able to use it over and over again, thereby also lessening the impact on our environment.
Each bag is made by hand from start to finish. The fabric is hand cut, assembled, and stitched using American and Japanese machinery. From the zippers to the fabric, every detail is directed at creating a luxury item that you'll look forward to using for years to come.
